Advanced Friction Welding
Our tool joint adapters are friction welded to the tube using computer-controlled friction welding machinery. This solid-state welding process generates heat through mechanical friction, creating a seamless forged bond that is uniformly stronger than the parent metals.
Uniform Normalization
Post-welding, the friction welded drill rod goes through a rigorous, uniform normalization process. This specialized heat treatment relieves internal stresses and refines the grain structure of the steel, ensuring uniform mechanical properties and guaranteeing a significantly longer operational life in the field.
